Ingredients:
- Karela/Bitter guard - 4 medium(କଲରା)
- Garlic - 10 pods(ରସୁଣ)
- Dry Chilli/ Green chilli - 2(ଶୁଖିଲା ଲଙ୍କା)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା
ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp(ସୋରିଷ)
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା)
- Mustard Oil - 1-2 tbsp(ସୋରିଷ ତେଲ)
Method:
- Cut the karela, wash it and keep a side.
- Make the coarse paste of Garlic.
- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds,when it begins cracking then add dry chilli and garlic paste and saute it for a minute.
- Put karela in to the pan and fry it for 5 mins.
- Finally add salt and turmeric powder and mix it properly and cover it for 2 mins.
- Then fry it till it became light brown.
- Serve hot with chapathi/rice.
