Ingredients:
- Cooked rice - 2 cup(ଭାତ)
- Grated Carrot - 1 cup(ଗାଜର)
- Ginger(grated) - 1 tsp(ଅଦା)
- Onion(slices) - 2 medium(ପିଆଜ)
- Green chillies(slit) - 2(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
- Spring onion(chopped)(optional) - 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 2 tbsp(ଘିଅ)
- Jeera - 1 tbsp(ଜିରା)
- Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)
Method:
- Cook the rice(75%) adding with whole garam masala,salt and 1 tbsp oil.Keep a side and let it be cool.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add jeera;while it starts cracking, add green chillies,onion,spring onion and saute it till onion turns light pink color.
- Finally add carrot,salt and saute it for 4-5 mins,then add rice and mix well.(after this,If you want,you can add soya sauce,tomato sauce and vinegar to the fried mixture)
- Serve hot with your favorite dish.
