Ingredients:
- oil - 5 tsp (ତେଲ)
- mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp (ସୋରିଷ)
- cumin seed - 1/2 tsp (ଜିରା)
- onion(sliced) - 1 large (ପିଆଜ)
- Dry red chilies - 4
- fresh coriander leaves(chopped) - 2 tsp (ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp (ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Potato(cut into matchsticks 8 ounces French beans, sliced ) - 2 large (ଆଳୁ)
- salt - to taste (ଲୁଣ)
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp (ଜିରା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
Method:
- Heat the oil over medium heat. When hot add the mustard seeds, when they start to pop add the cumin seeds, onions and red chillies. Fry for 4 minutes.
- Add the beans, potatoes, Turmeric and salt, stir to mix all the ingredients together.
- Cover the pan and reduce the heat to minimum and cook for 20 mins, stir from time to time to prevent sticking and burning.
- Stir in the ground cumin and cook for 1 minute.
- Sprinkle coariander leaves.
- Serve with boiled rice or roti.
