Ingredients:
- French Beans – 250 gms (ବିନ୍ସ)
- Aloo/Potatos – 2 medium (ଆଳୁ)
- Haldi Powder – 1 tsp (ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା
ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp(ଅଦା ରସୁଣ ବଟା)
- Onion(chopped) - 1 medium(ପିଆଜ)
- Oil/Ghee – 1 or 2 tbsp (ତେଲ)
- Salt – As per taste (ଲୁଣ)
Method:
- Wash and cut beans and potato.
- Heat oil and add Cumin seeds and after 30 secs add onion.
- When onion turns translucent add ginger garlic paste.
- Cook for another 30 secs on low heat .
- Add chili powder , turmeric powder and mix well.
- Bring heat to medium and add beans, potato and salt and mix well and cook for a few minutes and add 1/2 cup water.
- Cover and cook the vegetable till beans is tender.
- Uncover and let the water dry out fully.
- When ready serve with roti.
