Ingredients :
- Black lentil / urad dal - 1 cup(ଚୋପା ଛଡା ବିରି)
- Curry leaves(Chopped ) - 2 tbsp
- Green chillis(Chopped ) - 2(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
- Onion(chopped) - 2 medium(optional)(ପିଆଜ)
- Ginger(Chopped ) - 1 inch(ଅଦା)
- salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)
- Oil - 3-4 tbsp/as required(ତେଲ)
Method:
- Wash and soak the black lentil for 3-4 hours.
- Drain excess water and transfer to a mixer jar.
- Grind into a smooth paste with minimum water. Keep aside to ferment for about 4 hours.
- Add chopped Curry leaves, Green chillis,Onion, Ginger and Mix thoroughly.
- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Put spoonfuls of batter on the tawa and lightly spread. Drizzle with more oil.
- Flip over when cooked on one side.
- Cook on the other side till light brown.
- Remove from the pan and serve hot with tomato catchup.
