Ingredients:
- French Beans -2 cups(ବିନ୍ଶ୍)
- Potato - 1 cup(ଆଳୁ)
- Onion(chopped) - 1 medium(ପିଆଜ)
- Peanuts - 1/3 cup (ବାଦାମ)
- Coconut - 1/4 cup(ନଡିଆ ଖଣ୍ଡ)
- Garlic cloves(crushed) - 2-3(ରସୁଣ)
- Ginger(crushed) - 1 inch(ଅଦା)
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା)
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp(ସୋରିଷ)
- Dry chilly - 1(ଶୁଖିଲା ଲଙ୍କା)
- Red chilly powder - 1tsp(ଲଙ୍କା
ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Turmeric -1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp(ଗରମ ମସଲା)
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp(ଧନିଆ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
- Oil - 1 tbsp(ତେଲ)
- salt as per taste(ଲୁଣ)
- water(ପାଣି)
Method:
- Wash the french beans and cut it into small pieces
- Heat water in a pan,put french beans and boil it till beans soft and keep a side.
- Dry roast the peanuts and coconut, grind it coarsely, keep aside
- Heat the oil in a pan, add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, mustard
seeds, onion, crushed ginger and garlic to the oil, saute it
till onion becomes translucent
- Add red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala powder and mix it with the onion
- Add cooked french beans, salt, coriander powder and mix well, cover it for 2-3 min
- After 2-3 min, add coarsely grind peanuts and coconut, mix it,
sprinkle some water, if the mixture becomes too dry and cover it, let it
cook for 4-5 minutes
- Serve hot with roti or rice
