Ingredients:
- Chopped palanga/spinach - 2 cup(ପାଲକ୍)(Instead of palanga/spinach you can use other leaf also)
- Channa dal - 1 cup(ଚଣା ଡାଲି )
- Pumpkin(cube size) - 1 cup(କଖାରୁ)
- Potato(cube size) - 1/2 cup(ଆଳୁ)
- Brinjal(cube size) - 1/2 cup(ବାଇଗଣ)
- Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp(ଅଦା)
- Beans(1 inch length wise) - 1 cup(ବିନ୍ଶ୍)
- Dry red chillis(broken) - 3(ଶୁଖିଲା ଲଙ୍କା)
- Ghee - 2 tsp(ଘିଅ)
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp(ଜିରା)
- Roasted cumin and dry chilli powder - 1 tsp(ଜିରା ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
- Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)
Method:
- Wash and soak the channa dal for 1 hours.
- Take the channa dal, pumpkin, potato,beans along with salt and turmeric in a pressure cooker. Cook for 1 whistle on high flame.
- Open the pressure cooker cover and put chopped panak/spinach and brinjal, mix it and cook for 1 whistle on medium flame.
- Heat ghee in the kadai. Add broken red chilli,cumin seeds and chopped ginger and saute it for a minute.
- Then pour mixture in to the kadai and finally add Roasted cumin and dry chilli powder.
- Mix it properly and Simmer for 2 mins.
- Serve hot with rice/roti.
