Methi wala dal(ମେଥି ଶାଗ ଡାଲି )
Ingredients:
Method:Wash and boil the dal with adding salt, turmeric powder ,water and Keep a side.
Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Add cumin seeds ,
mustard seeds and allow them to sizzle. Add dry red chilli, finely chopped
onion and sauté until onion turns light pink.
Add ginger garlic paste and green
chilli and sauté for 25-30 seconds.
Add chopped tomato , turmeric powder, red chilli powder and
salt and cook for about 3 minutes.
Add methi leaves and mix well.Cook and cover for about 5-minutes.
Add cooked dal.
Mix well and cook for a minute.
Add 1/2 cup water and boil it for 4-5 minutes or until medium
thick consistency. If you want to have watery consistency, add more water.
Hot server with rice or roti.
