cauliflower potato fry(ଫୁଲକୋବି ଆଳୁ ଭଜା)

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower(medium) - 1(ଫୁଲକୋବି)
  • Potatos(medium) -2-3(ଆଳୁ)
  • Onions(slice) - 2(ପିଆଜ)
  • Peas - 1/2 cup(ମଟର)
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp(ଜିରା)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 - 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Oil - 2-3 tbsp(ତେଲ)
  • Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)

Method:

  • Clean,wash and cut the cauliflower and potatos and keep a side.

  • Boil water,add salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric and soak the cauliflower for 10 mins.
  • Heat the oil in a kadai.
  • Put jeera,while it turns brown color,then add cauliflower and saute it for 5 mins.
  • Then add turmeric powder,potatos,Onions and green peas and mix it well.
  • Cover the lid and cook it till vegetables 1/2 cooked.
  • Open the lid and add chilli powder,salt and mix well.
  • Fry the vegetables on medium flame with out closing lid till it cooked propely(if required sprinkle little water )
  • Serve hot with paratha or rice a aside dish.
