Potato Palak curry(ପାଲଙ୍ଗ ଆଳୁ ତରକାରୀ)

Ingredients:

  • Palak(chopped) - 1/2 of bunch(ପାଲଙ୍ଗ)
  • Potato(cube size) - 2 medium(ଆଳୁ)
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା)
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp(ସୋରିଷ)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp(ଧନିଆ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 - 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Oil - 1 tbsp(ତେଲ)
  • Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)

Method:

  • Heat the oil in a pan and put cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
  • While it starts cracking,add potatos and saute it for couple of mins.
  • Then add turmeric powder,mix it and cover the lid till potato cooked well.
  • Open the lid and put chopped palak, chilli powder,coriander powder and salt and mix it properly.


  • Cover the lid on medium flame for 5-10 till palak and potato cooked properly.
  • Switch of the flame and server hot with rotis or parotha.
