Raagi semiya upma(ରାଗି ସେମିୟା ଉପମା)

Ingredients:

  • Ragi semiya - 100 grm(ରାଗି ସେମିୟା)
  • Carrot - 1/2 cup(ଗାଜର)
  • Beans - 1/2 cup(ବିନ୍ଶ୍)
  • Onion(chopped) - 1-2(ପିଆଜ
  • Chana dal - 1 tbsp(ଚଣା ଡାଲି
  • Green chilli(chopped) -2(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
  • Peanuts - 1/2 cup(ବାଦାମ)
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  • Mustard - 1 tsp(ସୋରିଷ)
  • Oil - 2 tbsp(ତେଲ
  • Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)

Method:


  • Boil the raagi semiya for 3-4 mins,spread and keep it side to cool.
  • Heat oil in a pan ,season with mustard seeds,chana dal and peanuts.When it splutters add curry leaves,onion,green chilli.Saute till translucent .
  • Then add chopped vegetables along with a pinch of salt. Fry for two to three minutes in a low heat. Then add the remaining half of the cooked vermicelli along with salt and mix well.
  • Server hot with chutney.
