Egg tadka(ଅଣ୍ଡା ତଡକା)

Ingredients:


  • Whole black urad dal - 1 cup(ବିରି ଡାଲି)
  • Chana dal - 1 1/5 cup(ଚଣା ଡାଲି
  • Egg - 3-4(ଅଣ୍ଡା)
  • Rajma(soaked) - 1/2 cup(ରାଜମା)
  • Chhole(soaked) - 1/2 cup(କାବୁଲି ଚଣା)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ
  • Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Dried Fenugreek leaves/ kasturi methi - 1 tblsp (କସ୍ତୁରୀ ମେଥୀ)
  • Tomatoes(chopped) -2(ଟମାଟର)
  • Garlic cloves(chopped) 5-6 (ରସୁଣ
  • Onions(chopped) - 2(ପିଆଜ
  • Oil - 2 tbsp(ତେଲ
  • Green chillies(chopped) - 2(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp(ଜିରା
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp(ଗରମ ମସଲା
  • Chicken curry masala -1 tsp(ଚିକେନ୍ ମସଲା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Coriander leaf(chopped) -  1 tbsp(ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)

Method:


  • Wash & soak urad dal , chhole,channa daal & Rajma  for overnight. Boil them in a cooker with water & salt  in a pressure cooker till soft.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the eggs along with salt, and keep a side.
  • Again heat oil in the same pan and crackle cumin seeds,then add chopped onions & green chillies to it. saute for 1-2 mins till translucent. 
  • Add the dried fenugreek leaves,chopped garlic cloves and fry for 30 sec, Then add chopped tomatoes,chilly powder,turmeric powder and sauté for 3-4 min. till tomatoes become soft.
  • Then Add the cooked dal, garam masala,chicken curry masala and mix it properly.
  • Let it cook in a medium flame for 4-5 minutes. 
  • Then ddd fried eggs and cook for 2 mins.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and mix it .
  • Switch off the flame and server hot with roti/paratha.
