Pohala fish masala fry(ପୋହଲା ମାଛ ମସଲା ଭଜା)



Ingredients:

  • Fish – 250 grm(ମାଛ)
  • Turmeric powder – 1tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Mustard oil – 3-4 tbsp (ସୋରିଷ ତେଲ)
  • Salt as taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Garlic paste – 1 tsp(ରସୁଣ ବଟା)
  • Mustard – ½ tsp(ସୋରିଷ)
  • Cumin – 1 tsp(ଜିରା)
  • Dry chilly – 2(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
  • Tomato(chopped) – 1(ଟମାଟର)
  • Tamarind juice – ½ tbsp(ତେନ୍ତୁଳି ରସ)

Method:

  • Clean fish and wash it properly.
  • Add turmeric and salt and mix it,keep a side.
  • Grind garlic, dry chilli, mustard, cumin and make a paste.
  • Heat oil in a  pan and fry it till fish become brown and keep a side.
  • In the same pan add masala paste and saute it gently till masala became brown color.
  • Add turmeric  powder and salt and tomato and fry it.
  • When oil comes out then add fried fish and cover it.
  • Add tamarind juice and saute it for 5 min.
  • Serve hot with rice/ roti.
