Piaji (ପିଆଜି)



 Ingredients:

  • Chana dal – 250 grm(ଚଣା ଡାଲି )
  • Garlic cloves – 10-15(ରସୁଣ)
  • Ginger – 1 inch(ଅଦା)
  • Green chilly – 10
  • Salt as taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Onion(chopped) – 4(ପିଆଜ)
  • Curry leaves– 2 sprig(ଭେର୍ଶୁଂଗ ପତ୍ର)
  • Sooji/Semolina – 50 grm(ସୁଜି)
  • Refined oil for frying(ତେଲ)

Method:

  • Soak chana dal over night. grind it like rough/coarse paste.
  •  Add sooji, salt and mix it well.
  • Add onion and mix it well.
  • Crush garlic, ginger, green chilli and mix with chana dal paste.
  • Finally put curry leaf and mix well.
  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  •  Make small ball size and fry it till it became brown.
  • Server hot with chilli souce and tomato sauce.
