Muga saga Kharada(ମୁଗ ଶାଗ ଖରଡା)

Ingredients:

  • Drumstick/Sajana leaf (ସଜନାଶାଗ) – 100 grm
  • Pumkin/Kakharu leaf(କଖାରୁ ଶାଗ) – 100 grm
  • Poi/basella leaf (ପୋଇ ଶାଗ) – 10 leaf
  • Khada/ Kosola Leaf (ଖଡା ଶାଗ)– 100 grm
  • Pumkin (କଖାରୁ)(cube sized)– 100grm
  • Moong dal – 100 grm
  • Dry chilli (ଶୁଖିଲାମରିଚ) - 4
  • Mustard seeds(ଶୁଖିଲାମରିଚ) – ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds(ଜିରା)  – ½ tsp
  • Salt as taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Garlic (ରସୁଣ)  – 1
  • Mustared oil (ସୋରିଷତେଲ) - 2 tbsp

 Method:

  • Cut Drumstick/Sajana leaf , Khada/ Kosola Leaf, Poi/basella leaf, Poi/basella leaf and wash it and keep it in separate separate plate.
  • Boil moong dal, pumkin,pumkin leaf,Turmeric  powder , Salt and water as required.
  • Heat the oil  in a pan.
  • Add jeera, mustard seed and drychilli, when seeds begins cracking then add  garlic paste.
  • Add boiled leaf and drumstick leaf and mix it well.Cover it for 5 mins.Press leafs by using big spoon.
  • Server hot with rice/ Pakhala bhaata.
