Corn and Curd Curry

 Ingredients:

Corn cobs (tender) :- 2
Beaten curds :- 1 cup
Green chilies :- 4
Garam masala :- ½ tsp
Ginger piece :- 1 inch
Cumin powder :- 1 tsp
Cumin seeds :- 1 tsp
Salt :- To taste
Chili powder :- To taste
Turmeric powder :- ½ tsp
Coriander leaves :- Few springs
Oil :- 3 tbsp

  • Corn cobs - 2
  • Green chillis - 4
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Ginger piece - 1 inch
  • Onion(chopped) - 1 
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • curry leaves - 1 spring
  • Salt - To taste 
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Water - 1 cup

Method:

  • In a pressure cooker, boil Corn with adding some water and 1 tsp salt.
  • Drain excess water from corn and keep a side.
  • Grind green chills and ginger.
  • In a bowl take curd and water and beat it till it becomes smoth.
  • Heat Oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, Cumin seeds and onion and saute till onion becomes golden brown color.
  • Then add ginger and chilli paste, all spices and salt in it and fry for 5 mins.
  • Then add boiled corn and combined well and cook for 5 mins.
  • Put curd in to it, mix well and cook covered another 5-10 mins.
  • Then Serve hot with rice/ Parotha.






In a processor, grind chilies and ginger together.
Take curd and water in a bowl and beat it till it becomes smooth.
Finely grate the corn.
Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan and put cumin seeds.
Add corn and stir-fry for five minutes.
Mix ginger paste, all the spices and salt in it. Combine well and cook.
Put curd in it and cook covered till the corn gets completely cooked. Then switch off the heat.
