Paneer Tawa Masala


Ingredients:
  • Tomatoes – 2 medium sized chopped(ଟମାଟର)
  • Curd-100 grams(ଦହି)
  • Paneer -250 grams cubed(ପନିର୍)
  • Onions – 1 large chopped(ପିଆଜ)
  • Garlic & garlic paste – 2 tsp(ଅଦା, ରସୁଣ ବଟା)
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/3 tsp (ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp(ଧନିଆ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp(ଗରମ ମସଲା)
  • Chat masala powder-1/2 tsp(ଚାଟ୍ ମସଲା)
  • Black Pepper powder-1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder-1/4 tsp(ଜିରା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp (ଜିରା)
  • Carom Seeds-1/2 tsp(ଜୁଆଣି)
  • Capsicum-1 (cube)
  • Green Chilies-2
  • salt to taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Oil-4 tablespoon(ତେଲ)
  • Chopped Coriander leaves - 2 tsp (ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)
 Method:
  • Take whipped curd, add chat masala, turmeric powder, 1/2 tablespoon Red chilli powder to it and mix it well. Then keep paneer cubes in the mixture for marinating upto 20-30 minutes.
  • Heat oil/butter/ghee on Tawa and fry the marinated paneer cubes till it turns golden brown.
  • Now for preparing Masala paste, Heat oil (2 tbsp) or butter/ghee (1 tbsp) in a pan and add cumin and carom seeds. After few seconds add chopped onion until it turns golden brown.
  • Now add green chillies, garlic paste, chili powder, Coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and garam masala and cook the mixture for few minutes.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes capsicum and the marinated paneer cubes in the pan and mix it well.
  • Finally, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves over the dish and serve it hot.
