Onion Pakoda (ପିଆଜ ପକୁଡି)

Ingredients:

  • Onion - 2 medium sized (ପିଆଜ)
  • Besan Flour - 1/2 cup (ବେସନ)
  • Green Chilly - 1 - 2 no(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
  • Ginger - 2 inch piece (ଅଦା)
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Salt for taste (ଲୁଣ)
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା)
  • Oil for deep frying (ତେଲ)

Method:

  • Cut the onions, chillies and ginger.
  • Take besan in boil,add salt,chilly powder and cumin.
  • Stir in enough water to make a thick dough.
  • Mix sliced onion,ginger and chillies with the flour.
  • Heat oil in kadai.
  • Shape dough by hand into small balls.
  • Fry till brown.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
