Cauliflower Masala(ଫୁଲକୋବି କଶା)


Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower(medium) - 1(ଫୁଲକୋବି)
  • Potatos(cube size) -2 (ଆଳୁ
  • Oil - 2-3 tbsp(ତେଲ
  • Turmeric powder- 1 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Bayleaf -1 (ତେଜ ପତ୍ର
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp(ଧନିଆ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp(ଅଦା ରସୁଣ ବଟା)
  • Onion(chopped) - 2(ପିଆଜ
  • Tomato(chopped) - 2(ଟମାଟର)
  • Salt - to taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Cilantro for Garnishing(ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)

Method:

  • Wash Cauliflower florets with water.
  • Boil water,add salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric and soak the cauliflower for 10 mins.
  • Peel,wash and cut the potatos in cube size.

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Fry the potatos and cauliflower till it half cook and keep a side.
  • Add bayleaf, chopped onion and stir well.
  • Once Onion turns soft, add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and saute for couple of minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till they become soft & mushy.
  • Add rest of the powders and mix well.
  • Next, add the fried cauliflower,potatos and salt and stir gently.
  • Cover the lid and cook till all vegetables cooked properly(if required you can add water)
  • Serve hot with roti or paratha.
