Beans aloo Masala(ବିନ୍ସ ଆଳୁ ମସଲା)

 Ingredients:
  • French Beans – 250 gms (ବିନ୍ସ)
  • Aloo/Potatos – 2 medium (ଆଳୁ)
  • Haldi Powder – 1 tsp (ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp(ଜିରା)
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp(ଅଦା ରସୁଣ ବଟା)
  • Onion(chopped) - 1 medium(ପିଆଜ)
  • Oil/Ghee – 1 or 2 tbsp (ତେଲ)
  • Salt – As per taste (ଲୁଣ)

Method:

  • Wash and cut beans and potato.
  • Heat oil and add Cumin seeds and after 30 secs add onion.
  • When onion turns translucent add ginger garlic paste.
  • Cook for another 30 secs  on low heat .
  • Add chili powder , turmeric powder  and mix well.
  • Bring heat to medium and add beans, potato and salt and mix well and cook for a few minutes and add 1/2 cup water.
  • Cover and cook the vegetable  till beans is tender.
  • Uncover and let the water dry out fully.
  • When ready serve with roti.
